I haven’t seriously trained legs in the last 20 years. In 2012 I had ACL/PCL replacement surgery in my left knee. In my right knee I am still going with no PCL. About a year ago @marksmellybell sent me some knee sleeves from @thesupertraininggym. He said to give them a try. I started squatting again about 5 weeks ago. The sleeves give me support, confidence, keep my knees warm, and give me a little spring out of the bottom. In this video I am squatting 285lbs. Light weight for many men and women. By 2020 my goal is to squat 500lbs. To the wannabe judges out there, I am not in a powerlifting contest. The squats are not parallel or deeper. I am in my gym with a bar on my back. I have always loved training legs and the squat, in particular.
Bottom Line-It’s good to be under the bar again.

11 years of football and I have always loathed squats. I want to like squats. I really do... but the bar kills my upper back no matter how I situate it. I love leg press, leg extensions, and deadlift, and I'm pretty fucking good at them too. But squats just hurt. Not in a good way. My favorite though will probably always be the bench press though. No one seems to like the bench. I love it. If there was only one workout I could ever do again, it'd be bench. If there was a most "pure" lift, the one that most epitomizes a "strong man" or a lifter then I'd say it was the bench press, but most people would disagree with that, I'm sure.

@steveaustinbsr Stone Cold Steve Austin you always keep me motivated to work out and also I grew up watching you through the Attitude era and the last ruthless aggression era. Makes me never give up and feel the pain too I do have a right knee problem and I do wear my knee brace then I could work it out through. You the best in the world. You’re way better than anyone in this generation. Especially this generation rooster. I’ll never forget about Wrestlemanja.

@steveaustinbsr I know you have no intention of getting back competitively in the squared circle..I just want to know one thing, if you wanted to would or could you get fit enough to Have one more match if they offered you a purse you couldn't refuse ?? Reason I'm asking is I think your looking in dam good shape so I'd love to know where your at physically

Don't give up @steveaustinbsr ! But please don't harm yourself, we like you, and we know you, i mean your people know you uncle! There's another thing you do don't harm you that make us better, giving motivational effort to us. But if it's doesn't harm you, please do!

Huge fan of yours Steve! Want to be careful with the knee valgus (knees caving to the inside) ! Gluteus medius strengthening should help reduce that as well as eccentric banded (over knee) squats. Keep kicking ass!

Screw judgement u know your limits and know your body and strength as well fore some 1 with knee probs and directive surgery your doing great keep rocking in time u will reach your goal.again
