defa265 Finally, something to be proud of. It is so great that now people are more aware of the extinction of animals and actually take action to it. We should do more for other animals and keep the environment balanced, we do not live in this planet by our own, only humans. We share the planet with other creatures, losing another species might really crush the balance of the nature and might lead to another species extinction. It is refreshing to hear some positive news on the environment, especially. Every animals companies should do this preservations to every endangered animals. We should take a step to preserve other animals such as, lions and cheetahs and other animals. It would be a shame that if my grand children would not be able to see these beautiful animals, such as, this bird. I am really happy to see this news. We need more actions and news like this. The 30 years of conservation efforts paid of real well. Now we can see these beautiful birds for hopefully, more years to come. Now, let’s do the same thing for other endangered animals and care more about them. Let’s finally do something right for this world. It would be only right to do so.

theendc30 Yes I think it's great that humans are trying to keep this species from going extinct .. the problem probably not the bird but the environment that can't sustain it no more.. isn't it one of the reason why? tombradshaw_kingofcigs Lol the “victory for California condor” didn’t happen in California... maybe it’s bc the conservation budget is made up by firearms sales, ammunition sales, and the outdoors industry and Ca has such strict limits and rules on gun and ammo sales.

mnttam One flew into my yard a few years ago. It was terrifying and awe inspiring. It looked me straight in the eye, completely unafraid. I brought my kids inside because that bird is enormous!
