I remember the last time I competed at Drake Stadium in the long jump I placed 4th and didn’t make the team so this championship was about being able to overcome and proving to myself that I can do it. No I didn’t win and no I wasnt feeling my Best but I’m learning to trust the process in all things. So many times we give up when we’re so close. This post is to acknowledge the fact that life has its ups and down but be must continue to believe and continue to work hard.

@1toribowie in actuality you did win. You over came the defeat of not making the team in the long jump but this time you did that’s winning. Sometimes we think winning is first place but first place is the person who finished before everyone else however winning is the person who had biggest gain in the competition. First place is not always first place. God is setting you up for the biggest win in your life just stand still be patient and watch how he work. I love you sis and I’m so proud of you.
