DAY 3 Post OP from ACL Reconstruction and a lot of Meniscus repair to both sides of the right knee.
I have now completed 3 days of PT and today I was able to take the nerve block out of my thigh and start doing wall slides! Something so little, but so satisfying at the same time!!! 😄
I got my flexion to about 75degrees and I’m almost straight, got it to about 3degrees extension! 💪🏻 After PT @robinoleary and I walked around the Vail Farmers Market for a good while and then I definitely got a bit tired and sore. Still trying my hardest to stay away from the Narcotics... had to use them a couple nights because I just wasn’t sleeping! 😒
Each day gets better and better!!! 😁💪🏻
Thank you so much @robinoleary for helping me out through all of this, I know it’s not the vacation you wished for! ❤️ And a big thank you to @hawkscholz for helping me out the last days!!! 🙌🙏😊 @scarpana @petzl_official @frictionlabs @robinoleary

Please listen to the doctors. Push it only when you're ready. I'm 5-1/2 weeks off of a hip replacement and have been going to the gym for two weeks. Being patient with many of my workouts. I do a cardio, but am mostly not doing wieghts that include my hip. I am greatful to Kaiser and my doctor for being so advanced. My life is changed. I will get my one-arm-chin back at my age. My home gym is state-of-the-art for one-arm-chin as it is similar to my home gym in the seventies. Take care and push it when ready!

Wow! I had much the same bouldering fall and right knee injury. Got surgery just over a month ago. What a painful, scary thing but I am in wonder with the healing process! Trusting it more and motivated through small daily improvements. Took my first steps a couple days ago 🙌 You are such a crusher thanks for the inspiration.

Amazing results due to your determination and smarts in following your PT guidelines, plus listening to your bod. Way to go! We three Hansons are happy for you, honey, right @lelandhanson and @lamonthanson?

What is that nerve block in the last video? I’ve never heard of it before and am very curious as to how it works, all the best for your recovery ☺️

You are a bloody warrior. The number of injuries and surgeries you have pushed through would have had most people throw the towel in years ago!
