Stephen Luciano Romero was shot and killed last night at the #gilroygarlicfestival in Northern California. 2 others were killed and 15 more injured. My heart is broken for their families. Should we also push for car control because of the number of accidents on our highways? It's not the fault of the car, nor is it the fault of the gun, that tragedy occurs. When will Hollywood, and these other silly minded gun control advocates get it through their heads that there is a mental health crisis in this nation? When state and federal lawmakers finally address the real problem of mental health, things will begin to change. Hollywood, and the residents of the State of California, should be the first to realize that putting certain laws on the books don't stop crime, and don't stop the effects of guns getting into the wrong hands. Law-breakers will always find a way around the law to fulfill their agenda. Change the mind, and address the issues of the heart, and then we'll see guns remain in the gun cabinets, and car travel will be safer on our highways.

number1_ga_red_lady well I was in the U.S. Army and Retired from it. Honorable at that. I own several weapons and have taught my children about the safety of them and how to use them. and before yall have a duck, it's my home my kids and I will educate them on what it can do and to respect it. oh we have ones to hunt deer too. I am licensed to carry and I do. My purses are modified so I I'm not like hey I'm packing heat lol. If I'm pulled over I do let law enforcement know I do have a weapon and that I am licensed. So all this trying to take what the Constitution gives me the rights to have and the rights I signed my name on that dotted line saying I would give everything and I do mean everything to exclude MY LIFE so yall can piss and wine to get attention cause yalls career's have stalled.... PLEASE.... I'm guessing serial killer's are all packing heat and that's their modus operandi? Just run around and shoot people.

mercy_borroto Wow so young! my true condolences to his family and may he be in the glory of God. I don't understand, every time there's a shooting and someone gets killed, immediately everyone starts should starts bitching and complaining about about gun control; when it's real criminals who go by around shooting people, when it is teens themselves that have possession to these guns or they take it from a relative. NO! there needs not to be more gun control but simply parents need to be on the lookout for their children's' actions and behavior. Parents, and everyone need to be vigilant as anybody can have a gun for it is not the guns that kill people, but people kill people.

mandymacon Thank for advocating Gun control. Gilroy is very close to me, and I even thought about going to the festival oh, and I have a 8 year old daughter. I am so scared to do anything anymore. And that's a horrible feeling. Our town is definitely Shook Up. This poor little soul. I can't even fathom the pain the parents are feeling. Rest in peace little angel.
