High mileage isn’t a problem as long as you choose wisely. The 2 signs that this was a good one. It had a Shriner badge on the tailgate and those plastic air deflectors(ventshades) over the side windows. Definitely owned by an older gentleman👍🏽 It ran good but needed some routine long term maintenance. We did brakes, wheel bearings, new front half shafts, U-joints and serviced the rear diff. On the rear we fit custom made @deaver_suspension_inc leaf springs and King Shocks. On the front King coil overs & Kibbetech upper control arms. Wheels are Method billet 17.00” bead locks with proper TOYO 37” rubber. Tig welded Front bumper from Aftermarket HQ. Powdercoat by High Point PC. The factory grill was fitted with some left over KC pro lights mounted to a bracket from Kibbetech. The back got a color matched Snugtop commercial cap with ladder(surfboard) rack. I put some leftover Baja Designs lights on the back to cure tailgating. The flush fit Rear bumper is from Mazzula Offroad. Rear spare rack from Wilco. Bed was Line-X’ed and fit with Builtright bed rack system and a shovel from Shoveltec. They body had a few minor bumps and dings. Those were fixed and Sprayed with some fresh Sherwin-Williams paint. Fender flares and SVT grills got the Line-X treatment. Out back is a Borla Stainless cat back system that Chad sprinkled some Booty Quake sugar on. The Proof that if you have Awesome shop guys and choose quality parts. I jumped in this truck the morning after it was finished and bombed 2000 miles to Rhode Island without a hitch! Once in Rhode Island I took it to my buddy’s at Tasca Ford and had them install a Whipple Charger and intercooler and a tune. Then jumbled in and jammed back to Texas. The Whipple Charger made a big difference. 80-85mph all the way home. Cruising RPM lowered about 400rpm and no more down shifts every time you hit a hill. Best thing is it got about a 1/2 mile better gas mileage. Digging the step back to a GEN1. **Make sure you tap on the pics and follow all the tagged manufacturers👍🏽*** #JesseJames」7月30日 9時51分 - popeofwelding
