@xxzzbabbyxx What my point is they had to write their content, and have the talent to preform it. They had to send their tapes in, in the hopes of being able to record what they wrote. The music industry is actually a shady business. But like I said, it meant something back then. Now streaming makes music/records meaningless. 🤷🏼♂️ Imagine if streaming existed in the 80s-90s, we know Mariah would of had 30+ number one hits. ✊🏻🔥 Streaming and Social Media it possible for him to take that record. But, he won’t have it long if this is where music has gone.

@itscharlesten imo, back in the days, it wasn't fair and square. you have money, you can record a song. you have big record label, you get famous. which means, only few were had an opportunity to get famous. nowadays, everyone is equal. nowadays, you don't need record label to push you.

It’s not fair one sweet day should have stayed the longest #1 because there wasn’t social media back than and it was just sales and request. So one sweet day should stay as the longest #1

@xxzzbabbyxx good music according to you. Because I grew up in this time? I'd consider this better then the past generations music. But is is my opinion. Everyone has a different taste.

@itscharlesten believe it or not it’s actually harder to get famous as pretty much everything you try to do isn’t original and you just get lost in the shadows
