@5.doh @albertafaunov The torque of the friction is bigger... cuz of the higher distance to the pivot point. So you can actually reduce the force of the breaks. Because of the bigger radius the energy is still the same (obviously). But the heat is spread better. Nevertheless you have huge tires on this car which can mostly make use of this huge discs...and since the ABS brakes the tires rapidly, you can actually make use of the bigger friction torque, since it stops them faster and more effective. So actually the braking performance is increased. Sorry for my bad English... I'm studying mechanical engineering in Germany in the 5th semester. I hope I could help you.

@albertafaunov i would add that the wheel can lock up at low speed but when you ´re full breaking a 300 km/h the downforce and so the friction between the road and the tyre is higher, you can break hard without locking the wheel 🙂 This is why in a competition, you smash break pédale a high speed and relax slowly as you ´re losing speed because of the decreased downforce and so friction

3,800 G's? Who wrote up this farce? (With the car attached?) 3800 G force would mean the car would NEVER slide, even if you tried. If you pressed on the brakes you could go from 100mph to 0mph in a distance of 0 feet. Going from Any speed to zero Instantly is like crashing into a wall. Most cars can't even reach 1G force maximum in a turn.
