Among women of a certain age, anger has finally reached a tipping point. Women in their 60s, 70s and beyond seem to have taken a page from E. Jean Carroll, uncorking decades of long-bottled rage. The question is: What took them so long? For a generation brought up to smile in the face of almost any affront, older women’s indignation is ripe for reassessment in the time of #MeToo. Read more on why these women are “mad as hell” (I mean, who can relate?) at the link in bio.

1. If you don’t like people, why would you expect them to like you back? If you don’t like yourself, you always need validations from others. When you get to like & accept who you are, you don’t need that validation anymore, and it’s then when you stop carrying if others like you, or not. 2. Being angry all your life is such a waste of a life. You have to come to term with that anger somehow, and find a way to some form of peace, if not happiness, because that’s the secret of health. 3.Truth is that you better use your time to know yourself in order to know what’s good for you, or not, so you don’t accept others telling you how to live your life. 4. It takes, also, a dose of assertiveness, and courage, to be able to stick to your opinion on how to live that life.

My mother was a very outspoken person. Even if you didnt ask she would offer her opinion..As she aged she got even more brutal in her remarks and delivery. I confronted her ,as if she was a child, with her bad behavior ..She simply turned to me, looked me in the eye, and said "Im old now I can said whatever i want! There has to be some benefit to being old !!"

My entire life I have never cared what anyone thought of me starting with my mother when I was born (never liked her). Now that I am 63-ish I am happy to see so many women getting on board with the idea.

I love this! I’ve been so over women not being allowed to express their anger as freely as men have for centuries. When women are angry change is instant.

When you’re 33 and don’t want to wait until you’re 60 to have your voice heard 🙌 tired of people telling me I’m sad/angry when I’m just being honest.
