No YOUR heart just burst a bit!! 💖
.
This squisher is at that amazing age where she’s starting to really verbally understand, is beginning to play a bit more with Darcy and is all round a bit of a freakin’ joy!
.
I know babies are very sweet but I think if I had to pick, I’d say toddlerhood is my fave!
.
Anyone else prefer the toddler years? If so, tell me why? 🥰 #LPMumLife

i loved the newborn stage because of their baby sounds and those cute little hands and feet!! But the toddler stage melts my heart EVERY TIME! My daughter runs (more like speed walks) towards me when i ask for hugs or when she wants to be carried, she understands what im trying to say to her, helps to put her toys back and always tries to do things that im doing and copying every action that i do (even digging my nose, oops!) It always amazes me how FAST they learn! Do it once and it they saw it, they probably can do it already 😂 But my favourite of all is when she laughs and talks (or at least try to) ☺️❤️

My nephew is at toddler age and I absolutely love him, some of the things that he comes out with are hilarious but it’s just him learning his way about things ☺️ he’s an absolute angel and I can’t wait for his sister to get to the same age and see them learning together, chatting absolute rubbish to each other but learning and growing perfectly ☺️

Yes! Baby snuggles are so special but it’s so much fun once they start to communicate more easily and are easier to reason with or distract. As a nursing mother, it’s a nice balance when your toddler still wants those nursing cuddles but less often leaving you free to do so many other fun things together.

I always thought I’d mourn every phase as my babies grew, but just like you, i loooove my daughter at 6 and my boy at almost 3. So I miss newborn snuggles, yes. But I value the conversations I’m able to have with my daughter and the personality come out in my son. Every phase is the best phase!

@o_o_uou it’s just fun and they start making friendships and bonds with others nothing I love more than sitting down with one of the children and having a conversation and getting loads of cuddles. Even the loud and cheeky ones who have their lovely moments it’s so nice and makes me so happy

Personally I loved the point where my daughter was learning to be independent but didn’t know how to throw a tantrum - so right at the beginning of toddlerdom. She’s 17 months now and impossible 90% of the time! But until she was 14 months old she was a delight.
