Hey nerds, Marlowe blew out her knee last weekend, and she has to have unexpected surgery to repair it. She's going to need constant attention for the next few days, and it's just too much for Anne to handle on her own, so I have to cancel my trip to Honolulu for Comicon.
I'm so sorry, and I know that 99% of you who are disappointed will also understand how important my family is to me, and why this is my priority.
The good news is that I've already committed to attending next year, which is scheduled for August 7 to 9 (not 6-8 like I misspoke in my video.) Whether you're going to Comicon or not, whether you're mad at me or not, if you could keep Marlowe in your thoughts, it would mean a lot to me and Anne.

My Boston boy had knee surgery at three years old ... best advice I can give you is to get Marlowe in the pool! It was amazing the recovery process on his knee with the therapeutic swimming (as soon as you are cleared by the vet of course) my Bruno hated the water so I didnt want to stress him out too much I did 5-10 minutes at a time 2-3 times a day. He lived another six years with a happy knee but passed from a neurological disorder at age nine about three years back. Marlowe is gonna be fine! Swim, swim, swim!!!

THE YEAR WAS 2019! The place, Honolulu Hawaii. Having spent 10 hours on a bus, during which i had to twice violate my personal rule against relieving myself onboard a moving vehicle, I finally arrived at the Hawaii convention center only to find that my idol, Wil Wheaton, decided he had better things to do than to show up and sign my action figure. @itswilwheaton #thebigbangtheory

All the best for an uneventful surgery and quick recovery for Marlowe. 💕🐾🐕 six weeks is a long time for a dog to be “low impact” but it’s worth it in the long run. Once had my border collie with similar issues ... uuuughhh 8 ( should have 12) weeks of total down time. But Border collies and down time is an oxymoron. All the best will Marlowe ❤️

I have no idea why that posted twice!! Lol @itswilwheaton Bruno needed COMPLETE knee replacement and @annewheaton is glad to have you be with her ... at the time my husband was working a full time job a part time job AND going to school. I had two small children on with Autism AND another dog! Dude! It was rough! U are all in my thoughts!
