It has been exactly 1 year since I made the announcement that my life story was coming to @ネットフリックス, & maaan, I’m tellin’ you it has been quite the trip (a beautiful one, I might add!!). I want to send a very special thank-q to each & every one of U who has watched the film…I can’t even begin to express how incredible it is to read all of the positive messages you’ve sent in response. It has been one hell of a ride, but my only hope is that you’ll learn from my mistakes, honor your gifts, & be inspired to keep reachin’ even when it seems absolutely impossible…xxoo... .

@quincydjones your documentary has inspired me in ways that you cannot imagine. “Not one drop of my self worth depends on your acceptance of me” a saying that you & Ray Charles would tell each other is so beautiful, and touched me so much. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life’s journey. Your hard work, and determination from the start until today is incredible. Thank you for making beautiful music that has brought so much joy to so many people, including all of your humanitarian work. Quincy - you are The Legend! It's amazing that a person with solid musical education background was and is appreciated by the whole World. That last sentence keep reaching even when it seems absolutely impossible, when you in the hood in poverty it does really feel that way sometimes working poor it’s heartbreaking I no I’m living proof I pray 🙏🏽everyday for things to get better I’m at the bottom no where too go but UP 🤷🏾♀️
