@bear4prez2020 I've read your comments. Airports are considered the same as a border. If you're not in agreement with how the courts have ruled, I'd suggest working to effect change in the law. Comments left on social media won't change anything and the TSA moderators have no power to make the changes prompted by your objections. If change is what you truly want, I'd recommend getting involved with civil rights group to effect that change.

@bear4prez2020 the courts (includingSCOTUS) have ruled that a TSA search of passengers at airports does not violate the 4th amendment simply because the search is an "administrative" search, that is not intended to establish whether a crime has been committed but instead, it is necessary to enhance the govermment's ability to perform its duty of protecting the general public.

I recently flew and I gotta say, I looked at the TSA totally differently. Unfortunately, not a one cracked a joke, but I definitely saw the importance of their job in a new light because of this account. Knife in flowers.... C'mon!

I don't see how this is the least bit funny. Someone may have intended to bring down an airliner. Excellent work on catching this killer. But, this is now something to laugh about.
