Happy anniversary "CAMP MARIAH"!!!! I was so honored to celebrate this milestone with @thefreshairfund at the career awareness summer camp that we founded together back in 1994. This cause is so close to my heart, and the opportunity to bring my own kids to meet the campers and amazing staff was the highlight of my summer so far.
To make the day even more perfect, we were joined by the incredible @mistyonpointe who showed us all that hard work pays off! Misty's prolific career and unprecedented accomplishments have inspired so many. Getting to finally meet her, and knowing how much she has overcome as a biracial woman to get to where she is, is so inspiring to me. I'm forever a fan. See you next year, everyone!

carlitoswifeforlife I was surprised when I received the invitation for my son to attend Camp Mariah as he is a boy! I thought Camp Mariah was a girls only camp. Needless to say, my Sun said to me randomly out of the blue: Mom, thank you for sending me to camp, I wouldn't be who I am without this camp, my school Fresh Air Fund and you and Dad!!! For this reason he is our "SunShine" :) Thank you Fresh Air Fund and Mariah for memories and investing in my child and children of NYC!

In retrospect I could have done so much more with my life if I would have known that there was a world beyond my 1970s town. I never went to camp my parents couldn’t afford it. You are giving them SO much 💕☮️
