I really want to explore New York properly, but I had to see the Hilma af Klint exhibit even if I didn't have any money, so I took a bus from Pittsburgh, crashed with a friend of a friend in Crown Heights, spent a few hours at the exhibit and then went straight home. It was totally worth it, even if I spent almost as much time on Greyhound as I did in the city.

I was there once, briefly on a whirlwind trip with my class from Moore College of Art in 1982. I remember some of my visit, but now it’s such a blur. I remember being spellbound by the Van Gogh, Kandinsky and Chagall works that I saw. It’s been far too long. Gotta visit again! 😍

I took my Mom to NY for her first time for her 74th bday in December this past year. We took in the Hilma af Klint exhibit... just so incredibly beautiful and inspiring - as was the whole building ✨
