rbrave1 *****PLEASE SHARE THIS POST***** DOES ANYONE RECALL MY POST IN NOVEMBER REGARDING MY SUBARU AND THE TRANSMISSION FAILING COCHRAN SUBARU OF MONROEVILLE LIED They told me that my vehicle needed over $11,000 worth of repairs including an $8000 transmission or it wouldn’t pass inspection. My car sat on their lot for months for months as I was housebound borrowing vehicles to get anywhere selling things off that I treasured, to try to raise the money to repair this vehicle. I was never able to come up with the full amount. My Aunt, who is an attorney and lives 90 minutes away, said “before you take it to the junkyard bring it up here to Gearharts garage, The owner is a master mechanic and has been working on our vehicles for almost 30 years”. Long and short of it, my car needed $800. worth of repairs. It DID NOT need a transmission. THEY LIED. THEY DESTROYED MY LIFE FOR MONTHS!!!!! MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!

atawney1 Subaru is not a transparent company. They won’t give the prices of their extended warranties. I called and I messaged via messenger. They allow the dealership to use fear tactics and price gouging. As a first time Subaru owner, I am left with a very bad taste in my mouth. It’s disappointing to know that one dealership can charge 1400 & the other 2800–
