We want that little girl to know that she is worth every bit as much as the boys she practices soccer drills with after school. That's why we fight for equal pay.
It's a pretty simple idea: Women should be paid equally to men. And yet we and our teammates are still paid a fraction of what our male colleagues are paid. But this problem goes far beyond our team: Women in every industry are paid less than men, and it's even worse for women of color.
Enough is enough — which is why the USWNT Players Association is partnering with #TIMESUP to launch the new Time's Up, Pay Up campaign to continue the fight so that every woman is paid her worth.
Our fight has always been about so much more than just a paycheck. It's about us — and every woman — getting the respect, dignity, and fairness that we deserve.

I’m just saying If you can please send this message to as many fan accounts/ group chats as you can cause the more accounts we get involved the better! So basically I had this idea for a project for the fandom where we all post the edit that will be sent after this message and then using the multiple post feature on ig as a second screen thing (make sure the edit is the one at the front) but on the second one post a message typed in your notes saying how much you love tom and why. It can be as personal or as brief as you like but hopefully if he sees the same edit flooding his tagged he’ll read a couple of them and it will remind him how much we all love him. Dude you can’t even defeat 15 year old boys in a soccer match - what kind of “equal pay” are you talking about? You’re so blind in your fight against “iNeqUAlity” that you don’t stop to think about what you’re saying. // Men are better at soccer because of their biological advantage - thus they get paid more. Why would you pay someone who doesn’t even perform half??? Doesn’t make sense. // No, this isn’t “ism”, it’s just a fact. (Now if you’re one of blind followers and you want to “take on me” - don’t attack me personally, instead try to prove my point wrong. Prove to me that men aren’t better at soccer.)

Actually. Doesn't the women's soccer team have a better contract than the men's? Two different leagues, two different streams of funding. Even if it was a coed teams, professional sports contracts are individual. Now like in WTA men's and women's purses are equal. But again those are individual sports for the most part. Not sure LPGA and PGA purses are equal.

Why se are still discussin this in 2019 is very simple. Soccer is a business and womens league are worth a fraction of what male legues are. Is that si hard to understand? Of course you are being paid less but is simply because sponsors invest on male leagues and players

The reason Men and Women football players are paid differently is due to the popularity of their respective games. The economics of just giving women equal pay even though they are not generating enough revenue to pay these salaries would be absurd
