I haven’t had any words the past 48 hours . Just a lot of tears . For the families who are forever changed in ways I cannot dare to imagine . For the children , brothers , sons , sisters , wives , besties, daughters , husbands and strangers. I am so sorry that this country has failed you yet again . Sometimes the fight seems futile and then ...another day , another shooting and a reminder that we can never let the lives lost be in vain . If you feel hopeless , as I have too have felt , please let your sadness motivate action . @momsdemand @marchforourlives are both organisations who organize and consistently fight for gun laws to be changed . Follow them , donate to them , support them on social , sign their petitions . Show up however you can.

@suziecap Guessing you’re not American, right? Well, I have guns and none, NOT ONE, of my guns has ever sneaked out of my house & killed anyone. Guns are not the problem. Criminals WITH guns are the problem. And guess what? Criminals can ALWAYS get guns, legal or not. Taking them from responsible, trained, legal citizens is not the answer. Hitler took guns from the German people, so that when they figured out exactly what he was doing, they had no way to fight back. That will not happen here. Also, please feel free to look up the SKYROCKETING incidences of knife violence in the countries that HAVE banned guns. Evil will always find a way. I sleep better at night knowing that if an intruder breaks in, I can and will defend myself and my family.

@ryan3818 basically the correlation is that for a woman to make an autonomous decision about her own body, regardless of circumstances she has to do many number of things, all designed to shame and persuade her from having an abortion. There is many arguments for an against an abortion because involves a life. There are also many reasons a woman may seek one - from rape to poverty, or simply not wanting a child (and everything in between). However the irony is, guns are designed for one thing and one thing only - killing. In order to obtain a weapon that is designed to kill, and is used to do so every day, you just have to go downtown and buy one - then you can kill anyone you goddam like.
Go figure.

@ryan3818 I didn't quite see the correlation, but for me the key two words that have similarities to both parties, (shooters/woman who have abortion) are 'mass murder' both are and can be preventable, I don't feel this post portray's human beings as intellectual, it just soothes the author of the words, and supporters of abortion.

@nicmclay many 'reasons' to have an abortion, this is too matter of fact for me, you could argue that guns are not just for killing but also for defending, that's why I can't quite see the correlation. Human life lost to abortion have no defence.
