How amazing are these @petit.pli clothes for children?! When I first saw them online I thought they were the raddest - aside from the fact that they remind me of some of the Issey Miyake pieces in my own closet, I absolutely LOVE the idea that a piece of clothing could grow with your child. As a first time mom who had no idea of how wasteful the baby industry could be with everything being so disposable, I really want to do my part in trying to impact our planet with as little waste as possible. This include the cloth diapers+wipes we use, and now this!
Thank you to companies like @petit.pli who are creating things with sustainability and the future of our planet in mind! Did I mention these pieces are made of recycled bottles?! If any of you have any other amazing tips for sustainable baby stuff, please let me know! I love supporting companies like this! 🖤

My mama friends and I all reuse the same items and pass them on when the next kid is born. Its so awesome having a box of 3-6 month clothes or whatever age to get rather then worrying about buying more. We also passed along strollers, car seats, cribs, pregnancy/baby books, bassinets, maternity wear, pumps, cloth diapers, toys, food blenders/feeding supplies, etc. It’s been going on for 5 or six years now! I’m really proud of them and wish more moms could unite like this.

@thekatvond I love how quick people are to jump on your case about literally every minute thing when you post a positive way to help the environment like every little bit doesn’t count immensely, and I’m sure none of these stinkers even have recycling bins, for real. 💯💯

What type of cloth diapers do you use? I used a brand from amazon with bamboo inserts and my son kept getting a rash. No rash with disposables. Tried the reusable again and poor guy got a diaper rash the first day back in them.

I gave all of my son’s clothes to a friend whose husband was deported right after their baby was born. I even gave her the rest of the diapers and anything we were given that we didn’t use.

Qué hermoso y que increíble que pienses de ese modo, con mi hija también uso pañales de tela y trato de reusar toda la ropa posible de la hermana mayor 🙈. Me encantó la ropa que mostraste

I personally think companies should be responsible for cleaning up as much waste as they're producing. It could force some companies to create their own recycling program.
