Stop this cycle!  How many more mass shootings need to happen before lawmakers realize we need stricter gun laws

coco_gogo1 No offense, but showing a video like this is part of the problem with our society. It is Not normal to show this type of video. It enhances the incites those how want to commit these crimes. It infects the minds of those who are very marginal in their ability to associate with reality. Showing this type of video actually glorifies the rhetoric and narrative of those who want to kill. It is well known that violent images are a huge trigger to those already leaning towards this type of violence. They see this as their goals and how they aspire to be the best mass shooter in history. This doesn’t help.

boyslikerockets People keep saying that gun laws won’t change anything but this year we have had I believe 250 mass shooting so far this year. The next highest country had 3 then a few had 1 then the rest have 0. We have a problem and it is only in our country and we need to do something. You can say this won’t work all day long but other counties have sensible gun laws and 0 mass shootings. Look at the statistics. Every country has mentally ill people, only we have a mass shooting almost daily.

chads_paintball Banning guns will not stop people, I believe in some changes but outright banning firearms will not stop this, evil will always find a way, someone can use a machete and do more harm, banning firearms will take the ability for law abiding citizens to defend themselves and other people, we have a bill of rights for a reason, we need to think not about the guns, but the psychology of it, rather then blaming something or someone you need to look at the big picture

m.qnert Lawmakers didn't care when 20 kids in Sandy Hook were killed. Why would they care now? Thoughts and prayers. All I can to is that, because I'm not from USA. I can't go and vote, and change the lawmakers. You go, you vote. Change the people in charge.

aunamarie_97 Tell me what gun laws are going to do when most of these people are ILLEGALLY obtaining their weapons. Last time I checked psychopaths and criminals don’t listen to laws. We don’t need stricter gun laws we need to bring state hospitals back.
