The floating monkey bars are so much trickier than they look! When you have to carry the bar with you, there is nothing to stop it from spinning or rolling out of the cradle. It’s pretty hard to grip with one hand, and if you miss the perfect placement on the first swing, clinging on for dear life through the backswing feels impossible!
In case you haven’t seen the episode yet, I’ll hold off on posting any results until tomorrow, but thank you guys so much for supporting and cheering for me!

@jessiegraffpwr My daughter, now 14, was angry & insulted when they introduced the separate qualification path for women. I have mixed feelings, but understand how it benefits the show to ensure representation by women all along the way. Ultimately I choose to look at it as an opportunity for more women to get more experience and make the need for the rule obsolete.

And...Vegas is ultimately only “won” by an individual completing the whole course. If a woman comes along that can do that, then she can win it all. If you scale down the course to allow women to qualify by completing it, likely more men will complete it faster. The global push for equality of genders is undermined when you provide male/female seperate rules.

I don’t understand why they only let two women go through. You basically “won” this by getting further than anyone and only one more woman gets to participate in the finals? I don’t understand why they can’t just let any one in the top 35 or whatever it is compete in the finals - and adding a woman if needed. Any insight to this? Seems unfair to me.

@jessiegraffpwr I didn't realize there was so much time in between filming cities. Don't get me wrong I LOVE new obstacles, I just really wanted you to get that buzzer - next year for sure! I hope ANW (and you) will come back to Seattle, it was so cool to see you guys here!! Can't wait to see you in Vegas!

In your training do you primarily condition with movement and calisthenics or do you have a weight lifting component to your training. Looking to change my body after years or powerlifting and strongman and have looked up to you for years so figured you were the source to speak to. Keep being awesome.

Lower arm grip training is an overal left behin training. Maybe you can simply train that with a rope or bar or both and hang/hold as long as you can. The longer you can the better your grip strenght! Also more ways to do that haha thanks for being such a happy and healthy ray of sunshine🌈🌤😉
