sneugram @chris_ra315 My sales rep at my local GO boutique called me in April to tell me that a limited edition diver was being launched in late summer/early fall 2019 and that he wanted to sell me a watch; I said sure, why not? He then invited me to the boutique preview in late June, only to show me the watch upon my arrival and tell me that @glashuetteoriginal had sold out of the 69 pieces at Time to Move, and didn't supply any of their boutiques. Furthermore, he asked me if I wanted the regular SeaQ on the stainless steel bracelet, that is roughly $1,200 more than the limited edition. Obviously, I said no. I'm done with the brand and sticking to Rolex and the handful of excellent and fun micro brands currently entertaining the market.

Since some of your comments did not correspond to our netiquette, we have deleted them. To clarify the initial question: The SeaQ is available in three versions. The SeaQ 1969 is limited to 69 pieces, the SeaQ and the SeaQ panorama date are not limited. So you were both somewhat right. ;-) And a further clarification: The price mentioned might refer to the model with panorama date, although it does not correspond to our MSRP. Both other versions (the SeaQ 1969 is shown here) are available at a lower price.

sneugram @chris_ra315 yes, Rolex’s supply policy is a drag; however, nothing beats the quality of a Rolex. Also, the watches retain their value. The key to buying a Rolex without paying a ridiculous premium is patience. I got on my AD’s waiting in 2005, four years later, I got the call that my watch had arrived. I picked up the watch the next day; it’s my Daytona’s 10th anniversary this month. I don't mind waiting for my next Rolex; there is nothing better than that watch.😁

glashuetteoriginal @aiperisha_89 @turbokluk In fact, our SeaQ refers to the "Spezimatic Type RP TS 200" from 1969, a diving watch especially developed and manufactured in Glashütte, to which various details such as the shapes and colours of the hands or the lettering on the dial refer.

glashuetteoriginal @sneugram @chris_ra315 An important info: The unlimited SeaQ with a rubber or synthetic strap costs exactly as much as the SeaQ 1969. The unlimited version is in addition available with a stainless steel bracelet. The price of this version is a little bit higher.
