“Sure, I’m positive that most of my early adventures investigating what it meant to be a girl were heavily influenced by misogynistic culture. Hell, I’m also positive that many of the ways I continue to be “sexy” are heavily influenced by misogyny. But it feels good to me, and it’s my damn choice, right? Isn’t that what feminism is about—choice?” @エミリー・ラタコウスキー writes about exploring what it means to be hyper feminine for our September 2019 issue. Tap the link in bio to read more.

@dee_ni_m @adriennecourtney she’s beautiful I said it before and I’ll say it again so y’all don’t cry about it, just sick of people claiming to be feminists for attention when they totally miss the point. Be humble be true to yourself. Also you’re defending her when you’ve never met her either, I’m sure if you saw her in NYC paparazzi pics you’d literally see how much she goes against everything she said in her message. Plus yes she can shave or not when she wants no one is judging her for that? but like that defeats the whole purpose of trying to normalize body hair And having a choice! If you choose to show people that your growing body hair to send a message and all then wouldn’t you keep doing it to show you’re true to what you’re believing in? In order to really inspire people maybe actually be all about it instead of halfway in just for one picture or campaign. Plus why don’t you guys actually defend true feminists and humanitarians that BARELY have followers on Instagram, and truly do so much for the world, you guys have no idea what her personality is like either she’s famous for looking good. She’s obviously shallow AF from her posts like everyone needs to stop giving so much attention to people who just have a pretty face like Kylie, I’m sure they all donate money and help out in a way, but do you really think they are educated enough and down to earth through their posts? I feel bad if these are the people you look up to and really just have no hope in humanity. Wish y’all the best x 🙌🏽

@missai_inayat, Porous armpit hair still does not equal bad hygiene. A person with armpit hair can still shower, use deodorant, and have a healthy diet. Just as there are people who shave/wax everything and smell horrendous because they have bad hygiene by not showering often, don’t use deodorant (or use deodorant when they haven’t showered thinking that that will make them smell okay), and have bad diets.

Am I the only person who thinks that growing armpit hair doesn’t empower women, like anyone can grow armpit hair. Maybe if she did something like try showcase that women can work in a male dominated field like petro-chemical or maybe just tried like wielding, idk all I know is anyone can grow armpit hair that’s not empowering or challenging

Look I go hella long without shaving my legs it’s blond hair and almost invisible but if I’m going to wear a tank top or dress I am shaving my pits. I’m not going to throw shade on women who think hairy armpits are all good I mean good for you! Your body your decision I just personally can’t.

@luhrazz babe you’re sending me novels just because I said she doesn’t need clout. I’m not defending her because she hasn’t done anything to defend. I don’t care. This is a waste of your time and energy
