229 points... that’s what this combination of drivers and team scored in Hungary - how did you get on last weekend? 🤔

@_alecvuka_ yea sure, I will because you asked nicely instead of just make ignorant statements like other people on this thread. The drivers score points for their performance in qualifying and the race. So for example, there are points for progressing to Q2 and points for progressing to Q3. There are points for where you finish once in Q3. There are bonus points for getting pole and for qualifying ahead of your teammate then. Once in the race, there are points gained for positions gained from your starting position and points lost for positions lost during the race. There are points for finishing in top 10, also staggered like the normal F1 points(first gets 25 points, second gets 18 points etc.). There are also points for simply finishing the race at all, as well as points for fastest lap (which is why Max scored slightly higher than Lewis, along with the points for pole). Similarly, there are points deducted for not finishing the race, so a DNF is a huge penalty. Every week, you can pick one driver who costs less than $19 million, who's points will be doubled. So whatever they score using this system will give you double points (in this case, Sainz is the turbo driver so that score of 72 is double what he actually got). These are the basics but if you're interested you can join the game and learn the rules on the F1 website @gaston_tornquist

@sander__o Maybe another red bull on medium tires? But there is no question the Merc is the beat car on grid but you cant use that against Hamilton, he's over delivered with that car. I don't think Bottas could do it, aggession and risk taking is not his style and Mercedes trust Hamilton more, he's proven. Bottas has underachieved this season compared to Lewis, only 7 points ahead of Max in the championship.

@gaston_tornquist no, it isn't. Because it isn't a rating. They score points based on their performance during the race weekend. Sainz number is high because he was the turbo driver - meaning the points he scored were doubled. @tadgreenwald

@f1 I have my team ready for Spa. But why 5 drivers.? I tried to save my team with 3 but I couldn't . $100M is not much money here...
