📍August 13, 2009📍This was a day 23 years in the making. On this day I was able to achieve a goal I had set for myself at a very young age, play football at a professional level. I was wide eyed, nervous, and anxious. I wasn’t drafted high and was a long shot to make the team at all. More than anything though, I was excited to go out there and try to make a play, contribute to the squad in any way possible. This is the day where my journey began. To all the young guys out there who are taking the long road, I want to wish you luck and to make sure you remember that this is a special day regardless of the outcome. No matter what the depth chart, the media or that twinge of doubt in the back of your head are saying, keep pushing, keep grinding, keep improving and good things will come. Now let’s go eat, fellas. 🐿

Well stated. Hope they listen and learn. When camp had two a days I was lucky enough to stay over after practice ended. It was the the week before this. You were taking extra work with coach O’Brien to get yourself there and here. Like Ty Law stated last week if you don’t believe in yourself who else will.

@edelman11 don’t know enough about football to be a fan... if I had the chance I’d ask what were you feeling the first time you played your first NFL game when you went out on the field, and what do you think of seeing your face/name tattooed on a fans body?
