A feud has erupted in Manhattan Beach, California, over a house painted with giant emojis that has caused heavy foot traffic to the street. Neighbors say it was done out of spite after the owner was forced to pay a $4,000 fine for unlawfully renting the property on a short-term basis. #emoji #california #housing #neighborhood

I think it's cute and funny. If person wants to buy your home bad enough they will. Whining about a damn emoji when the country's on fire and mass shootings coming at us like category 5 hurricanes, is typical of people with too much money, too much time on their hands and not enough common sense. Unbelievable, yet not really. This shouldn't even be on anyone's list of what's truly important. But leave it to the rich and affluent.

@gus__lee good detective work, that makes the story make sense now. So check it, Dude lives across the country, he uses the property as an air bnb, lots of foot traffic. The people that live there full-time got tired of all the tourists and complained, dude is subsequently fined and the emojis are his get back....

I mean I see both points. There is a lot of snitches in those little neighborhoods and she got fined and fought back with emojis. Basically saying zip your mouth and mind your own business. She new this would happen.

I kinda like it 😜 it would be pretty cool if the neighborhood kinda became like an artsy 🎨🖌️ spot so ppl can come take pics and what not 📸
