Wolfson - Writer/Producer and Speechwriter - Known for Law and Order: SVU, the Closer, Saving Grace, Fairly Legal, Century City - @rogerwolfson - Roger Wolfson has written for “Law and Order: SVU,” “Fairly Legal,” and “The Closer,” where one of his episodes earned Kyra Sedgwick an Emmy Nomination. His first produced script for the TV series “Century City" starred Viola Davis, and one of his scripts for Holly Hunter’s “Saving Grace” featured the first conversion to Islam in the history of American TV. He has sold ten TV pilots to networks including CBS, ABC, USA, Bravo, and Lifetime, with producers such as Charlize Theron, Denis Leary, Tim Kring, and Peter Tolan. He has also served as counsel to Four US Senators and has written legislation that has allocated more than 100 billion dollars toward education, health care, and civil rights initiatives. He has written speeches for nine current presidential candidates, for the Mayors of New York and LA, and for presidents of other countries. He has given lectures on developing long-term emotional relationships with diverse audiences to all Democratic U.S. Senators and House Members. Wolfson earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, his bachelors from Vassar with highest academic honors, and his masters in writing from Johns Hopkins.
