Thanks to everyone who has been sending us tips and information about how VCA U.S. addresses declawing.

We need your insight. A year ago @vca_canada stopped declawing because they said it is inhumane. 👍🏻 @vca U.S. keeps making excuses as to why they won't stop declawing and recently sent this declawing call script note to all their employees after many of you were calling your local VCA to see how they address declawing.🙀😾 Why do YOU think that VCA U.$. won't stop declawing like their colleagues in Canada did over a year ago?

pugmomma_delaney If you have watched the procedure, and was with the kitten when it woke from the surgery, you would never want anyone to perform that surgery. I worked for a vet for a short while, she never really liked to do it, and was adamant that she would not perform procedure after kitten was a certain age. The kittens would be in sheer agony, even with painkillers. I am happy VCA is against it. It is cruel!!
