I feel like respect and love for nature do play an important role here and it has been so encouraging and positive to find almost no trash/plastic waste around, even in popular spots, often seeing many signs for us foreigners to protect it and finding establishments limiting their plastic. It’s a joy to see that respecting Mother Nature seems to be anchored to the core values and culture of this laid back paradise. May we learn from it.
