Street food heaven 🍢 We spent the past 2 days exploring Hongdae and Myeongdong. What surprised me the most was how there were hardly any trashcans around, but both neighborhoods remain clean despite all the street food stalls & people! Also loved that there were healthy street food options such as fresh cut fruit and fresh pressed juices 🍑

kayliedananh It’s because Korea has strict garbage disposal regulations. Most things should be recycled and food cannot be mixed with regular trash. That’s why public trashcans aren’t very common since trashed have to be thrown away properly in designated bins.

tairahjade You guys should check out Sanchon! It's a restaurant in Jungno-gu, near Changdeokgung Palace in Seoul. They do Buddhist temple food. It was an awesome experience!

cowankids We were there last month and my kids loves the street food! Every stall have a sack or garbage bag on the side so you can properly dispose your garbage.

ohdamnitsangel One thing I miss about Korea is the street food! I love how many cafes and makeup/skincare stores there are! Hope you enjoy!
