“Women HAVE a history that has been systematically suppressed. Our collective spirituality has largely been tainted to fit the needs of men and those in power. This has a profound effect on the self-esteem of girls and the women they become. This influence can be seen in their life choices, partners and financial security for the rest of their lives. It also has an effect on the way their future partners will view them - and ultimately treat them. Our girls deserve better. The time to introduce feminism and woman-centered spirituality to ALL children is now.”
To me, there are two types of feminism. Both are equally beneficial i think towards generation today. I don’t mind her in this form because people say it’s impolite towards children but i think children are aware that they also have this in nature and they may have already seen their mom breastfeeding siblings or themselves or whatever, and this post isn’t even triggering but a good way to express that women can do whatever men can and be cool@about it. Another way to express feminism in my observations is to respect your body and be conservative because women are very special and deserved to be in a higher standard bcuz of this possession. Men may be more hardcore or whatever but women have empathy and could heal the world. Imo, i want to be less showy in a way because that is to me what makes people understand what feminism more than being too seducing ( not how i think dove is) and naked because that is what i think why more and more men out there even degrading women. Again, when i watch victoria secret i don’t think wearing bras and panties were powerful or strong but it’s a way of feeling comfortable and good in your own skin. So the lesson is be right in your own way. Just don’t think women is lower.
Dove thank you so much for speaking out on this topic Iam 14 and come from a a Mexican🇲🇽 background and my family believes that if a woman it's not wearing a bra they are considered indecent but now I know that it's okay to embrace what you have and to not be afraid if someone decides to slut shame you and that it's okay because you're showing your true self which is beautiful and natural. And all I have to say to you is thank you so much because I always thought something was wrong with me because I didn't want to wear a bra and be like everybody else but now I see that there's more people that think like me and i will keep pushing forward to help my family have more of and open mind to the natural beauty of a woman.💓
also- to be a role model for younger kids we need to teach them certain things. dove has done this in many ways, and had chosen to do it this way too. it’s NATURAL. so many kids and guys on here don’t care, yet..loads of adults do? is society ‘losing sensitivity’ or is society finally fucking realising how sensitive we all WERE. women only RECENTLY BEGAN TO WEAR BRAS. Hm, hold on a minute. at the same time, BREASTS HAVE ONLY RECENTLY BECOME A ‘SEXUAL ORGAN.’
They’re a reproductive organ. Yes they may be sexual, but not in the way everybody is saying. They’re natural. If Dove wants to let people know that, LET. HER. Either way, Dove will do as she wishes, our comments don’t decide. She, as our Queen does.
Sorry but i refuse to cover up for a bunch of sorry ass loser men with No Job and No life and they’re sorry ass being babied by their Moms 😂...fuck outta here..men are so fucking trashy these days with their cheating butt’s sleeping around and than trying to boss us women around? Yeah...No, these baby ass men who are afraid to see a woman’s body or nipples ”are the ones sleeping around with other men.” We don't have to serve men or ever cover up for Men either, we have the right to be free and we do not have to listen to men! We are allowed to wear what we want and do what we want with our bodies.
You write this message but show your nipples? You are promoting sexualization — which is exactly what men want. So what suppression are you talking about? Men actually promote this type of behavior. It’s all over the industry — same one you’re employed by. But don’t think I’m complaining, show more tits please... just your message is confusing AF. Next time promote something like women’s rights for pay-rate and promotion equalization.
And the message at the end... the biggest “WTF” ever. You want to promote this to children too? Straight up subliminal evil.
I'm 13 years old and I totally think that every girl on this world is ashamed by their bodies.. Just look at those people on the beach. The girls are comfy on their looks, and some of them even doesn't care to get a tan on their boobs without their swimwear. You Dove are teaching us to be more confident with our bodies and looks and I think this is the best way to show how beautiful we are with or without one thing. You are a model for all of the girls in this world Dove, we are all with you❤️
