For our new Asia cover story, photographer Adam Ferguson, a longtime TIME contributor, documented the unrest in #HongKong from its frontlines, capturing smoke-filled scenes of turmoil and moments of powerlessness as young #protesters find themselves outmatched by riot police. The crisis there is the most serious to rattle the former British colony since its return to Chinese sovereignty in 1997. “The real issue is what comes next for Hong Kong, not the daily mayhem between police and protesters,” says Ferguson. “Tear gas and arrests have become a smoke screen for a larger conversation that needs to happen. wcnm5408 香港臺灣自古以來就是中國的，之前的短暫離去多少人痛心啊，祖國强大了第一時間就接他們回家了回家以後各種補貼，各種照顧都忘了嗎，港獨真的沒有心。遊街，舉橫幅，暴打遊客，現在還封锁機場正常運行。到底誰的錯啊？？ Hong Kong and Taiwan have been China since ancient times. yinshen04 现今的香港，暴徒冲击立法会，袭击警察，袭击人民，占领道路机场，肆意蔑视法律，肆意侵害其他公民的人权与公权力，暴徒的心中只有自己，没有一点对法律的敬畏更没有任何生而为人的怜悯。Nowadays in HK, rioters have smashed into the Legislative Council, attacked the police and citizens, seized roads and airport, they only want defied the law and violated the human rights and power of other citizens. The rioters are unbelievable selfish,showed no respect to the law and no sympathy as a human being.

xswlfq @_ysssss_ 可是現在也有留學然後回國回流潮啊。雖然不想說申請外國學校深造比內地考研簡單多了，考研比高考還難T.T至於奶粉尿片，我只想說中國有14億人口，買進口奶粉尿片的也衹是其中的一小部分人，內地現在的奶粉標準已經非常非常嚴格了，還有，中國有個農墾乳業聯盟，他們制定的標準甚至超過歐美標準。同樣的每個國家食品檢驗標準都是不一樣的，食品安全問題每個國家都有，比如美國在某個時期就也爆發過。你們和平遊行沒錯，表達自己觀點沒錯，錯的是不該用別人的自由來要脅政府。政府也是希望修補那個漏洞才提起修改逃犯條例，解決問題不是單純的破壞，而是提出更好的辦法。是不是可以加強你們香港方對於逃犯的把控？因為引渡條例首先是要在雙方法律中都認定為犯罪並且是有嚴格限制的犯罪，政治犯不引渡也是國際共識，最後還要你們香港同意放人同意引渡才能將人引渡。像那個殺人的男子難道你們不想引渡不想要臺灣地區的司法協助嗎？
