@notreallyjayz it’s not that simple. The general answer found is that stars are too faint to show up when photos are set for brighter objects. However in other places it mentions the fact that the lack of earths atmosphere makes the stars much easier to see and u can see things like clouds in The Milky Way, etc. Also, I’m a photographer. I can set my camera to reduce the brightness enough to where faint objects are captured and the shots aren’t over exposed. So again, I guess it’s possible that the camera is ALWAYS set in a way where the stars are too faint to capture. But you’d think that someone could play with that a bit and get ya some really gorgeous images up there. So I’m wondering if anyone else has an explanation other than the FStop. And that’s why I asked - it’s not that I haven’t heard of google. It’s that I don’t believe the first thing I read on it like most people and I’m asking to see if there’s other theories.

@bootleg216 Go to a camera store and ask to try a fisheye lens on a camera to see the effect for yourself. There are 2 types of fisheye lens, one gives circular photos and are 1mm to 10mm, the other gives normal rectangular photos and are up to 16mm. Fisheye lenses bulge objects in the middle and seriously curve outer objects. Wide angle lenses are 18mm to 28mm, this photo used a wide angle lens as curvature is only mild with the outer objects.

@motokitten what is the square milage of curve on the earth? You don’t know cause you never researched it. How can the salt planes of Bolivia exist? How come the water of the earth doesn’t collect at the equator if were spinning like a wet tennis ball? But ur brainwashed ass will be all SENSITIVE about real questions rather call names like a child.

@juannn_29 you can’t take the image of that black hole from earth first of all. Second of all I say it’s a raw image because it’s unedited. And I brought up the black hole because that’s the only dime they would take a picture with a filter on it. And I said why the ISS is bent, because they used a fish eye lense to get a broader view of earth.

@yourcaptaincarlos well what happens when you correct the fish eye lens to get a proper image of the station? What would be the result of that on the image of earth behind it? I’m not arguing FOR flat earth I’m simply asking questions to inspire free thought. 🤙🏻

@usmcroly but usually in photography it's hard to see the stars when the focus is on something brighter and closer, same for the photos I took of the moon, no stars can be seen in background, idem if you look at the sky at night in a city street full of lights...
