Bluefin possess incredible biology; they continue to grow their entire lives, swim faster than torpedoes, crisscross the ocean each year, and generate heat in their bodies, allowing them to swim into cold waters to feed. modern_mystical_mamma I don’t think we really appreciate this giant animal as a sea creature. It’s become such a food commodity for so many. Under appreciated for its size, adaptation to its environment and speed. This is a great pic. I’ve only ever seen them in videos being wrangled into a fishing boat by fisherman calculating their value in their minds ($16-28 lb). ❤️🌈👍😊🌎
