I like to have at the very least 65 grams of protein a day. I like to start my day with my @southbeachdiet chocolate shake which has 20 grams of protein and 160 calories. Protein is so important and on top of that it can keep you full, so don’t skimp on your protein intake and make sure and try and keep track but logging it like i do. On another note this shake is so freakin good lol I refuse to give up tasty food, how miserable would that be? I find joy in food like lots of people so when I want to cut back or lose a couple lbs I turn to @southbeachdiet because I can cut back on my calories but still enjoy what I eat! I also love that it’s a super easy program to follow. I can grab it and go when I’m headed on the road, kittenish office or an easy grab n go bar when I’m taking kids to school. Y’all have seen me for years and y’all have seen me every size. I’ve been 110 and I’ve been 163 lbs when I was pregnant with Vivi. After Forrest was born I was 138 and 5’1. I wanted to get to at least 120 to feel like myself again and I can tell you southbeach made it happen. I’m actually someone who has struggled with weight in between pregnancies and been up and down so you know I’m keepin it real with you on my journey!
