Combined qualification is over.
It was such a long long day.
Although I made my new Speed record. I could not somehow concentrate on Boulder feeling like my body in separate pieces...Got pumped and fell down.
Despite being in a hard moment, I could stay relaxed for Lead and climbed up pretty good.
As a result, I passed Combined qualification in the 2nd place. (Speed 10th, Boulder 4th, Lead 2nd)
Looking back a day, the story was never same as I imagined...
I did make a lovely start with my poorest Speed, went down with most favorite Boulder and came back on stage in Lead.
Competitions are never easy and mysterious. Among the strongest climbers, I'm really happy to have one more climbing day of World Championships in Combined final.
It's truly amazing that we have 4 Japanese going up to the final. I'm so happy to be with them.
Honestly...it was a mentally super tough day during World Championships and I regret I could not enjoy my
climbing... For Combined final, I will enjoy it more than ever!!!!*

コンバインド予選が終了しました。
長い長い1日でした。
最初のスピードで自己ベストを更新するも、次のボルダーで全く集中出来ずビックリするくらい身体がバラバラ。ボルダーで疲れてヨレ落ちする始末。最後のリードは、逆にすごく落ち着いていて、キツイ状況の中でいい登りが出来ました。
結果、スピード10位、ボルダー4位、リード2位でコンバインド予選を2位で通過しました。終わってみたら、苦手意識のあるスピードで気持ちよくスタートし、1番好きなボルダーで落ち込み、リードで巻き返すという想像もしてなかった展開でした。本当にコンペは何があるかわからない。沢山の強い選手がいる中で、明後日のコンバインド決勝に残り、世界選手権を最後の1日まで登れることを本当に嬉しく思います。そして、日本人選手が4人も。本当にすごい。一緒に決勝に残れて嬉しい！
コンバインド予選は世界選手権の中でもメンタル的にかなりしんどい1日で、正直あまり楽しめなかったことが心残りです。コンバインド決勝は、思いっきりクライミングを楽しみたい！！！*
