A trip to Kyoto was the inspiration for this collection. Kanzashi is a traditional hair ornament dating back to the Edo period. It is a decorative and beautiful hair ornament that women often wear with their kimono.
My vision was to design Kanzashi inspired sticks for the ear, like a lure, a touch of movement and simplicity for everyday. Infusing pearls and combine traditional with a modern sensibility.
