catnipcrew I’m so excited for the book! My question : something that has been on my mind a lot has been how to work within the existing political system while simultaneously challenging the system to reimagine a new one. Running for office feels like it necessitates somewhat of a legitimization of our current system (including the parts that are harmful), but it’s also the system we have and so may be the best way to make real change. How do you and Kate reconcile these two ideas, either in the book or personally? 💓💓

triciadonovan45 I just left a VM about how to get meet and greet tickets to the sept 7 Chicago show because, while I've already pre-ordered my own copy, I'd love to get a copy signed for a friend who needs the nudge into state politics where we live (Missouri, she's desperately needed). I didn't know you'd have copies when I bought tickets! I would have paid the extra $$! 😀 Lemme know if there's a way to sneak in and get a signed copy.

laurt56 What offices can you run for while still working full time? Is it best to get really involved volunteering and then spring boarding that into a campaign about that organization or cause? Lauren, Portland. Also what @mattmcconks said 😂

ensuarez How can women (and girls from a young age) combat the unfair negative descriptors that women receive compared to men: decisive vs. bossy, confident vs. conceited, competitive vs. catty, while working to get rightful representation?

dsypimpin89 In your opinion, is the relative scarcity of female candidates more a reflection of a deeply biased and entrenched political system, or our society’s general distrust and reconditioning of assertive women from early ages?

srsly.sarah.m What strategies would you suggest for women running against each other? Is there any way for women to disagree "philosophically" without one, both, or even the media making it NOT about women not supporting women?
