At the NY Renfaire, we mix the mead with beers and ciders...it goes good with most everything. Even Guiness! Getting a lot of good feedback on your mead there, too. Most famous concoction yet: apple cider, pear cider, sangria, mead. We call it the Heathen Rose. Much different than the Tooty Fruity Birthday Booty, which we can no longer make...sad face.

It’s really interesting to see the rise of mead. My husband made a couple batches in 2016, one which we still have “barreled up” on the counter. I’m hoping the rise also means more availability for home brewing products.
