After a few visits to see you in the hospital, it was the final hospital visit that I knew would be the last. Holding your hand while on the verge of going to Heaven was one of the most memorable moments of my life. We knew you heard us when we would talk to you and it was a struggle for you to respond, but the moment we said “I love you” you fought to say it back until we walked out after our last goodbye.

Grandma, I’m really going to miss you and I can’t even put it into words right now. You mean the world to me and always will. Gran, you raised an incredible and beautiful daughter we get to call our mother. We promise to take care of her and comfort her now and always. I love you so much and it will never be the same without you 💗
