In June the Foundation sponsored the spays of many of the lions in the sanctuary. Why would we do that? Well, the lions’ contraception was wearing off and this was the most practical measure to prevent any unwanted breeding. There is no current conservation value to breeding lions in captivity and if you visit a facility where there are lion cubs you should ask why, where these cubs will land up & does the facility breed continuously? Watch the #lionwhisperertv episode to find out more! Link in LINKTREE bio above

Don’t think you could ever release a once captive animals into the wild it would have no fear of humans sadly humans would not understand properly shot the animal . Wild animals have survived well on there own until humans take there land and go hunting. Respect Kevin you got best job ❤️

The word here is Captivity...... why are they in captivity in the first place? I do understand you love and truly care for the lions but I am confirmed. We have more lions in captivity in SA then roaming in the wild, correct? I really would want to understand why?

Stories can be different with different foundations. Rescued cats come in pregnant too. So. Don't be so single minded when it comes to Cubs in a facility. Not encouraging breeding doesn't mean u should dismiss every one of them who has Cubs dear.

I'm curious as to what you think of blackjauar whitetiger. I stopped following them because I felt they use the big cats to exploit but others say I'm wrong. Just wondering your opinion. Ty

I only wonder, what if we need lions to increase the population where really endangered and the only solution comes from lions in captivity? It is not a possibility? If not why?
