Let’s show our Mother 🌎 our LOVE as she is showing us her unconditional love selflessly every minute of every day. Then imagine this: Santa Cruz alone, my hometown, measures 32,560 hectares. New York City measures 78,380 hectares. LA measures 130,000 hectares. Bolivia’s wildfires have destroyed the equivalent to these cities x 5 to 21 times their size! All in LESS than two weeks! If you were waiting for a sign to start living more consciously... to begin caring...THIS IS IT! It will take us centuries to rebuild the damage done to this mother that aches tremendously: nature. Our mother. To the extent of what? Governments and humans thinking we can deforest land without lifelong consequences. We are here because we keep thinking short-term. THINK AGAIN.
