It can be physically debilitating to keep up with it all...the news, the violence, the current administrations absolute disregard for the truth and human issues, etc, etc, ♾ We are going to need a ton of sage in 2020. That said- Yesterday something great happened. Something that pulled me from the funk. Someone very special to me received their citizenship and their family is now on the same path. It has been a great source of anxiety for them since the day we met. I cannot even begin to IMAGINE . But yesterday they became a US citizen and their happiness is infectious. Their absolute love of a country that has done so much lately to make them feel unwelcome is inspiring. We need more people like this here!!! If you are a citizen, please..know that it is a privilege.Try to help someone who may not have that right yet to keep their head up, and to stay the course. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
