I’ve loved analogue cameras ever since my mum gave me her old Nikon FM2 when I was 16. Over the years I’ve collected many old cameras but this one is definitely my favourite. The Bolex H16 is a hand-cranked 16mm film camera made in Switzerland in the 1960s. Wind it up and it will shoot for 30 seconds. No batteries, no electronics. This is the camera I used to shoot ‘Headed East’ and it feels great to be using it again to shoot music video these past two weeks. 🎥
