During the concert, presenter and musician Alexander Armstrong (📷 3), an ambassador of Future Talent, met the young people at the Palace. The Duchess of Kent helped set up Future Talent after previously working in a primary school. HRH wanted to help talented young musicians to fulfil their musical potential. “For thirteen years I taught music in a primary school in East Hull. I saw the power of music in every aspect of their lives and as an extraordinary stimulant for growth,” HRH said. “Our vision has been to support talented young musicians from every corner of the country and in every genre of music. The benefits for these children are inestimable.
