Directed by #ThomasKail, I got to play Sugar, we played for two seasons at @publictheaterny and just last spring at @pasadenaplayhouse. In June, with @oskareustis , I got to present excerpts at @snforg in Athens, Greece. Well, productions with new casts and crews have popped up all over the states including San Diego, Seattle, Portland. Productions are coming to your city soon, with Chicago’s opening soon at @victorygardenstheater ! But here’s my point...I wrote the play for free. It took me three years and there was no money in sight, I just wanted to adapt this stunning book and play a role way outside my comfort zone.
