Fans of the McLaren F1 often run out of superlatives to describe its legacy. The design is iconic, a design that was styled by Peter Stevens, the then head of McLaren Cars’ Styling studio. Together with the wind tunnel team they produced literally hundreds of drawings and many more models preceding the full-size clay model. Thousands and thousands of man hours went into perfecting the F1 shape, making it truly the stuff of legend. #MSOMonth2019
