If you feel amazing, you’re more likely to approach people or respond confidently. . ⚡️SIMPLE INTROS. It’s *very* common to just intro yourself to complete strangers at these things. Rehearse your simple, succinct intro before you get there so you’re ready to roll it out easily on the day! Mine is, ‘Hello! Nice to meet you, I’m Louise. I’ve been making parenting and lifestyle content online for ten years, mostly YouTube videos!’. From there, you ask what they do and voila, you’re networking. . ⚡️BAG. Pack your handbag like it’s Tony Stark’s suit, everything you need, can cope in any event. Back up charger, mints, pen & pad, makeup, snack etc. . ⚡️10/10. Tell yourself that for this day, you are a 10. You can be ‘normal’ again tomorrow but for today, you’re 10. Visualise how they’d walk and talk and that’s you today!! . ⚡️ BUSINESS CARDS. A really handy way to end a convo (‘Ok well I’ll give you my card and you have all my details to contact me, I’d love to hear from you.
