Last week, mako sharks earned the final vote confirming their @CITES Appendix II listing at #CoP18, a critical protection for this endangered species' survival. I applaud @RichardBranson and @OceanUnite for responding to @ShawnHeinrichs’ alert about #CITES4Sharks and advocating for Canadian Ministers @jonathanwnv and @cathmckennaottcen to switch their votes from “NO” to “YES” in favor of protecting the endangered mako.
