Located in a Historic National Parks building along the north shore of the San Francisco Bay, the four walls contain a talented and dedicated team of designers, developers, marketers, sales and supply chain experts. Of the nearly two-dozen of them that applied for the trek to Everest Base Camp, these are the six that were selected by one another. As inspiring as our home base may be, to design, develop, and talk about equipment and apparel for gym climbers to high-altitude mountaineers, you have to step outside those walls and be one with the activities you serve. You can’t just rely on research and hearsay, you have to experience it. Our hope is that they come back to this office in three weeks with an even stronger foundation to do their part than before they left—and that it has an outward effect on everyone here.
